Have you ever wanted to know how to get involved in Carnival in the UK? But you just weren't sure how to go about it?
Well believe it or not you are not alone. If like many other people you watch the carnival pass by on the streets of Notting Hill, Men, Women, and children in their pretty costumes and t-shirts dancing and enjoying themselves, wishing you could get involved, well you can. Every year, Carnival bands across the UK, create costumes for you to wear at Notting Hill Carnival, and each band tends to launch their costumes typically between March and May each year to allow people to have a look at their costumes and order the costume they want to attend Notting Hill Carnival.
We are a family band, many of our band members/masqueraders have been with us for many years, and we have generations of families within our band as well.
For 2022 Utopia Mas UK has decided to do things a little differently this year, by inviting you to join us at The Factory, Shacklewell Lane E8 2DA, for a daytime event. This will give you an opportunity to decide if you would like to get involved, you will get to meet the designers and talk to them, have a look at our costumes up close, book a costume, or one of our T-shirt Packages.
Once you have decided to buy a costume or a T-Shirt, guess what? You're involved in carnival. How easy was that? We would say that was pretty easy.
