Creating Together

Creating together is about bringing together and welcoming all abilities and ages to create special pieces of artwork that reflect iconic landmarks of Bedford High Street. Over two weekends in September 2023, Utopia Mas UK will run drop-in workshops. There will be five large scale circular structures that will act as our canvas. We will decorate them using traditional paint and colouring materials as well as carnival art materials like gems, braids, sequin, feathers, foils, etc, so lots of sticking and gluing to be done.

With the guidance from Utopia Mas facilitators, participants will help to complete these colourful representations that will show off the landmarks of Bedford High Street in a very different and special way.
